You should be able to get both at Radio Shack for less than $10. Also make sure you use a good toggle switch and good grade wire. Make sure that the back of the switch cannot short out against any metal or get crushed by other wires etc.
Make sure the toggle switch is not in a place where you can kick it or hit it by mistake with a knee. On the other hand, you can cut the wire that runs from the coil to the distributor, run one side into the car, put in a simple toggle switch someplace where people won't easily spot it, put that wire on one side, run a new wire from the toggle switch back to the other side of the cut wire and you have instant security system.
